ClickGuard ("we", "our", or "us") operates the click fraud protection platform at click.ezegrow.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

1. Who We Are

ClickGuard is a click fraud detection and prevention tool for Google Ads advertisers. Our platform monitors traffic on Google Ads landing pages, scores each visitor for fraud risk, and automatically blocks fraudulent IP addresses from future ad impressions using the Google Ads API. 2. Information We Collect

When a visitor clicks a Google Ad on a website using ClickGuard, we collect the following data automatically:

IP address of the visitor
Google Click ID (GCLID) from the ad click
User agent string (browser and device type)
Country, region, and city (derived from IP address)
Internet Service Provider (ISP) name
Referrer URL and landing page URL
Session duration (time spent on the landing page)
Whether the IP is identified as a proxy, VPN, or datacenter

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information from website visitors.

3. How We Use This Information

We use the collected data solely for the purpose of detecting and preventing click fraud on Google Ads campaigns. Specifically:

To calculate a fraud risk score for each visit
To automatically block high-risk IP addresses
To push blocked IP addresses to Google Ads campaign exclusion lists via the Google Ads API
To provide dashboard analytics to the site owner (our client)

We do not use visitor data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than fraud detection.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties except as follows:

IP reputation lookup: We send the visitor's IP address to ip-api.com to check whether it is a proxy, VPN, or datacenter IP. No other data is shared.
Google Ads API: Blocked IP addresses are submitted to the Google Ads API on behalf of the account owner to create IP exclusion rules on their campaign. No personal data beyond the IP address is transmitted.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or in response to a valid legal process.

5. Google Ads API Usage

ClickGuard uses the Google Ads API exclusively to add IP addresses as campaign-level exclusion criteria. We use the campaignCriteria:mutate endpoint. We do not read campaign performance data, modify bids, create or edit ads, or access any financial information. All API calls are made server-side using OAuth 2.0 credentials provided by the account owner.

6. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in a private MySQL database hosted on the client's server. We implement the following security measures:

All API endpoints require authentication via API key or JWT token
Database credentials and OAuth tokens are stored in server-side configuration files, never exposed to end users
All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
Access to the dashboard requires a secure password

7. Data Retention

Click log data and blocked IP records are stored indefinitely unless the account owner deletes them from the dashboard. Account owners can delete their data at any time.

8. Cookies

ClickGuard does not set any cookies on the websites it monitors. The JavaScript tracking snippet does not use cookies. A session ID is generated per page visit and stored only in the browser's memory for the duration of the visit.

9. Your Rights

If you believe your IP address has been incorrectly blocked, or if you have questions about data collected about your visit, you may contact us at info@ezegrow.com. We will review and respond within 10 business days.

10. Children's Privacy

ClickGuard does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. Our service is intended for use by businesses and Google Ads advertisers only.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
